It also looks like you haven't been moving your belief sliders. Move towards peaceful, the change slider will move automatically. Both will buff your learning ability.
Add you don't need those expensive skills right off the bat. A much better use for your LP early on would be raising exploration and survival. Farming too, once you get some crops.
