Is there an easy way to get non-standard characters into your name or your village name (like accented vowels, etc)? I've tried a few things like char map and copy/paste, but no luck.

yeah, i tried that... gives the wrong result though. (00e9 should give accute-e, but gives some generic big "O" that isn't really the letter "O".) . . . i'm flummoxed
