Does strength affect Archery?

i just wonder if strength affects archery when using a sling or a bow.

The simple answer is that no, it does not. The longer answer is that Perception affects Marksmanship by increasing your minimum damage per shot up to as high as your maximum. No stats increase damage on bows or slings, only the quality of the weapon itself.

Maximum damage is affected by quality of the range weapon and projectile.
Minimum damage is affected by maximum damage, the shooter's perception vs the target's agility. Note that if the shooter has twice the perception of the target, he will always deal maximum damage.
