I cant play

Everytime I hit Play button it asks me to log in and when i enter user name and pass it asks me to save a file. Once ive done that it keeps asking me to save the stupid file.

I had the same issue. Here's how I fixed it:
First, I checked my version of Java. It worked for my laptop. Hopefully your computer just has an outdated version. If this doesn't work, your java is probably corrupted or something.

Also, you might want to try downloading Pacho's client or using a different Browser. It might do something

Hopefully it's just a problem with your current version of java though, and you won't have to wipe your hard drive or anything. I hope this helps

I had the same problem,
I updated my java, didn't work.

Disabled my firewall (ZoneAlarm), VATSSS A BINGOOO!
I mean... it worked, firewall can be an issue.

Good call, that could also be the problem.
Yeah, so Eagle12, you should try these two things: update your java and disable your firewalls.
By the way, I'm pretty sure that most firewall programs have a function that enables you to add exceptions to certain programs or publishers. I can see how both issues (java version and firewall) could in fact stop the download of the game.
