Reincarnation

So I died.. and I created a new character in hope to Reincarnate with some LP from my last character and nothing.. I climbed the ladder in hope to go to my house and nothing.. i started on somewhere else.. is there anything I can do? or something wrong that I did?

you have to read the runestone in the starting room and claim ancestry
