Question regarding decay and quality..

Okay so, say I have a *q90 kiln* and it just so happens that I live on a mudflat, if I repair the q90 kiln with q10 clay, does the quality decrease? Or does making repairs with lower material have no effect :?:

Mats used for repairs are not having any effect. You can repair it with Qanything.
