Also, it might be worth mentioning that as well as linen, you can very easily trade bricks in bulk, so I'd put that as the number 2 resource.

All in all, nice to see this grow, yeah.

Linen is easier as you can do it within safety of your walls/claim, bricks are a pain to do before you have CR system setup (meaning village, meaning brickwalls should be up or going up soon and you're past this stage), and are harder to carry and shit, overall they just stink pre-CR.

If the local clay spot is close enough, I'd say that bricks are definitely worth it.

If it were me I'd be keeping all harvested bricks unless the trade ratio was just that damn good.

I've paid 4 bronze for 100 bricks the other day. That's a damn good price IMO, 4 kilns of bricks are much easier to make than 48 linen.

48 linen is a hell of a lot more LP than 100 bricks, however

True, but 48 dough are better than both once you can make 'decent' quality it's worth more too.

Bricks take a lot less time, though.

But they're a limited resource. Linen is not. They're also in demand by the villager in question. Unless I was on top of half a dozen 30+ nodes I wouldn't be selling the limited amount of bricks I have access too. Moreover bricking is only less effort after having built walls and an idol. Since dough isn't worth anything until you can make decent quality that leaves linen.
