Got any players around here?

I went to evry of those spawn-thingies. And i didnt saw a single player. Is this game dead?
I did saw a big city that i couldnt go in. Maybe there where players there?
Anyone got some tips on finding people? Playing on your own isnt really fun.

You have to know that everything existing in the hearthlands is generated by players. So the cities you have encountered are not open to anyone, it would even be a security risk to just open your gates to strangers passing by. The game is by no means dead, the world is just pretty huge for the amount of people playing in it, so it is unlikely you will meet someone by just walking around. If you encounter a farm or village you can also carve a runestone and leave a message for the people there how to contact you.

Odds are you're going to have to stick it on your own and solo for a bit to get the hang of things. If you see a nearby active village you might try leaving them a note somehow with a runestone or a container with a parchment. Any sizeable village probably has a mine or trades regularly with someone who does and can set you up with the nearest trade route or form one with you.

If they do have a mine...and they're really nice they might chip you some seeds and a scythe. Most establishments can at the very least chip you some seeds to get started with. It's MUCH easier than trying to find them yourself (major right pitfa tbh).

One of the warp-like thingies was outside of a city. I couldnt find a way in.
I currently got travel weariness so i geuss i cant go anywhere else?
Some thingies tried to suck my blood.
Where shoud i go?
I kinda like the adventure thingie. But getting beaten up and nocked out by wild bears isnt really fun.
