How can I start mining?

Yes... It's realy hard to find mine. And i read I have to build a mine hole, right? I can't do it even if I've already have a prospecting. I have only skill to mine and make a rustroot extract. Nothing about mine hole.http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Mine Is it good or a bug?

You can only make a mine if you find a spot that has metal - just like you can only build a well where there is hidden water.

Yeah... But well I can "build" even if there is no water - there is an icon of well. I have prospecting and I have no icon of mine hole. It's bug? Or by using skill "mine" I'll make a mine hole.

when you prospect, if you find a mine spot at 100% it walks to it and start building. you'll need some wood blocks. but many mines are already built so you won't find them with prospecting.

Mines are easy to find and so there aren't many left. It's much easier just to trade for the metals you need, at least when you're first starting out.
