raising q on silk

ok I know the basics of silk making..I need to know how do you possibly raise the q on eggs especially with gender being random..I know that tables and leaves just keep the q from dropping but need someone to kindly explain to me the process in raising the q on these eggs and a possible easy way of doing it..thanks in advance..

Basically, same as crop. Eggs will be +/-5 q of their parents, so you just need to select the best ones for further breeding.
