what level of unarmed combat i need too kill level 10 boar

You'll have better chances ranging it from a boat and when it starts running, punch it until it dies.

You'll need about 10 MM, any q sling and around 10 UA I assume. Higher will make it easier/faster/less painful.

but you can outrun them

80 at comfortable level if you follow my combat guide. You can do it at lower UA/Melee if you know what you are doing though.

If you shoot the boar from a boat until it runs (or build lots of little unbuilt fires around you so it can't get to you whilst you shoot it), then when it runs I think you do very high damage even with only 1 point in unarmed combat when you punch it in the back.

I think unarmed is only useful if you want to manly fight face to face. If you are a coward like me and only want to fight when the boar is running, it's not necessary.
