Destroy a claim?

Postby Professor_Mindscape » Thu Oct 14, 2010 12:53 pm

My ex-housemate and I quit playing around the same time. I'm back now, and wish to take over his side of the property. I have full permissions on his claim, but it's so small that it doesn't even cover his section of the palisade.

I've sent him a message on facebook asking him to declaim it, but it doesn't look like he's going to reply since that was a few days ago now.

How can I take over his side? I've tried destroying his stake but it doesn't seem to be possible.

I know I could just leave it since I have full permission, but I want to be able to extend my claim to cover the palisade and give my mate permission for that area.

You need to place a village idol close to it and then as a lawspeaker revoke the claim. Depending on the claims size this might cost quite a bit of authority, which can be raised by building additional statues or banners.

So our village got ransackd and most of us were killed, including the lawspeaker. Their is one survivor who wasnt there to die, but he moved multiple supergrid spaces away. So can he port back to the vilalge and become LS, then make me a member, then LS, then hearth back to his house. Would that work? He doesnt have Law Speaking though, and is wondering if he just leave the village if I can than interact with the idol, or if the idol with no members would disappear?

Thanks.
Today is a good day to die.

If he leaves village, anyone can take Lawspeaker/village.

It may have to be under 50k auth for that to happen, you may want to check that out.

It has to be under 50k unless the person who wants to become lawspeaker is a member of the village. I found that out the hard way not long ago.
