Server crash and boat

What should I do if I was fishing in boat during sever crash?
What will happen if I start playing from "where you logout"? I have heard about people that have lost their characters doing like this.
If I will start from "hearth fire" I will lose boat, which is a bit precious to me as I have just started playing.

Also if for whatever reason you were carrying a object above your head and you get logged out you will lose said object, never to get it back sadly.

That only occurs if you are standing over shallow water. On land, it drops at a random location around you though if it drops at where you logged off, you cann't use "where you last logged off" as your returninging log in location unless the object is removed.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Hah! If only you can do that in-game. Then again it will lead a scenario where you carry the boat with a person carrying a boat as well.
