...for building a timber house? I don't have any fir trees around, which sucks, but I want this big house. What say ye, wise haven & hearth enthusiasts

Ok, thanks. I thought the wiki said 100 of each. How do I build a cellar? Can I do it after the house is built?

Also, I think I remember something about building a door. Do I build the front door separate?

you build it after the house. it requires a bar of metal. and a pickaxe to dig the stones out.

Just to avoid confusion, sabinati is talking about the cellar. You don't need to build the fron door seperately. You get one for free with every house you build.

That would be kind of weird if you had to build a door into a house.... although it'd be cool if you could have more than 1 door..
