Claim / Village / LP question

So me and 1 other person have started living in a new area.
We built a log cabin and person (A) laid a claim in front of the door.
We made a Kin and set permissions.
What is the best way for person (B) to "add" their claim?
Do we need to wait to get lawmaking and start a village then have (B) start a claim inside the village?
We want to get to a point where we are both able to use LP to expand a shared claim,(Village, Town, City...etc.)
Just wondering what the smartest route to take is. Thanks.

A village would be your best option if this is the route you want to take.

You could easily share just one claim with other people and the owner could expand it themselves, but you can't build a second claim and have it intersect with the first. Personal claims cannot be built within 5 tiles of each other. If you want to have a shared claim you can both expand on, a village is your best bet. Not to mention anyone can have a personal claim on village territory if they are in that village.

One of you would be lawspeaker and the other chieftain. This way both of you can build authority objects.

I'm not sure but it can be difficult to maintain village by 2 players with low stats. Idol drains 5000 points of authority each 24 hours. Authority gain is given by formula (according to wiki):
AuthGain = LP_Gain * (sqrt( (Int*Cha/10) ) /3)
I would advise to check how many LP both of you have to gain every day to maintain village claim.

If it is a village and keeping authority you seek I highly advise that you get cows and make even if it's low quality, some Harmesan and Jorbonzola, particularly Harmesan, if you can make some decent quality Harmesan then you should be getting 1 Harmesan = 1 CHA for a while, even on a mediocre table, if you purchase a GOOD table for that, well heh...

Good point. Bream isn't the hardest fish to catch, and BBBB has pretty good FEPs.

Yeah fish are a good start for INT though for sure.
