Best use of fibers? (For LP gain)

What's the best way for a farmer to use his excess plant fibers to lazily gain LP?

Right now I'm just making linen cloth and then taking the linen cloth and making pants/shirts, but I was wondering if there was something else I could be doing that's more LP efficient. I don't really want anything horribly labor intensive like looms or anything like that, just something quick I can do after I harvest to make use of the excess materials.

Stop planting extra hemp and do more wheat instead since it's bounds ahead of hemp for LP.

If you're setting up a palisade anytime soon it might be a good idea to use it on rope, other than that, linen.

Cheap shitty banner linen is the way to go. the extra hundred lp or whatever from linen clothes isn't as valuable as a nice shiny new tool.

Yeah, any LP you lose from not crafting pants will be more than made up for with the increased harvesting speed you'll get from buying a scythe.

Sythes are amazing, my friend "got" me one and I loved it. Till the owner came and picked it up from us... Stealing is bad it turns out, you can never tell when a claim is abandoned or the player has just been away for a while.
