Mines and trade.

Postby Taikand » Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:47 pm

So, I've been talking with someone and he suggested going to search for mines near Constantinople.
I was like "Dude, that's the busiest area in the game, there's no way you can find any mines there."
And he was like "Belive me, you get all your metals from there!"
"Through trade, you mean?"
"No, you mine it!"
First questions: Constantinople is a good place to trade?
If yes how much would a bar of metal cost?
Second:That guy also suggested moving near Constantinople. Would that be a wise move? Why?

1. Yes, as of now constantinople is the best point in the hearthlands to trade. To see how much a metal bar would cost you take a look in the Apples&Oranges forum, have a look at the trading threads of major towns like Sodom or AD there.

2. If you don't get too close to Nople it is not a bad idea to move there. Sure, it might be a bit crowded in that area, on the other hand Sodom is policing the grid so if you ever encounter any problems with criminals just let us know and we will take care of it.

Setting up shop on their front door might not be wise. Lots of foot traffic might invite themselves to take stuff from you also.
