Does Knockout + Water = Death?

If you get KOed while in shallow water do you die?

otherwise if you get killed in shallow water can you find your corpse?

If you die in shallow water, your corpse will still be there ( at least it used to not poof ). It'll be gone forever if you die in deep water.
