Max effective forage value?

Postby Blxz » Tue Nov 02, 2010 7:12 am

Does anyone know the max effective value for foraging. That is the value at which conceivably every single piece of forage, cavebulb and whatever else becomes seeable? I heard from rage a long while back that 10,000 exp*per was about the max. Can anyone confirm, deny or offer an alternative number? Loftar/jorb/moderator imput would be highly valued here.

That would indeed be interesting to know.

If the data on the wiki is right then min needed to see blood sterns (the hardest to see forageable) is 1250. So based on this post (Infomative post) the value of per x exp you need to see all of everything is 5000. That is about 71 perception and 71 exploration

Hmm, this is either not right or mussels don't count as foragables. I have more than 5k and I still don't see all mussels, as in you gather mussels in a spot then leave the screen and come back to find more in the same spot.

You'll pretty much never need more than 10k. Whether that's the lowest you'll ever need, I don't know, but after around 10k you won't notice a difference.

If you're a ranger (Marksman), never both with Exploration past 40 or so, you can get the rest of it via a Dawn Chain to boost you over 100.
