Thinking of coming back

Postby Swordmage » Tue Nov 02, 2010 6:35 pm

Hi, I spent some time in game a few months ago and am thinking of trying it out again. My tendency is to stake a claim in the wilderness, find my way to a "friendly" town for eventual trade when I have something worth trading, and avoid the whole village PvP mess. I left just after the milestone mechanism was added to make travel simpler.

I have a few questions:
  • Do user generated maps still go away after some arbitrary time?
  • Are trading centers developing around the world (when I left we were seeing many villaged being destroyed before they could flourish)?
  • EDIT: can we transport tamed animals across water?
  • Are you still having fun?

1. I don't know what you mean about that one.
2. Constantinople is the best known trade centre. See the map of the world thread for a map of it's location.
3. Rafts can carry tamed animals across water but only one at a time.
4. Yes!
Save our trees. Say NO to clear-cutting.
