You're not gonna get any help on macros though, you want to learn how to make them go look up something typically used like autohotkey and figure out how to use it, or learn java and make a custom client.

I thought macro's were ok as long as it doesn't exploit anything?

I don't use them anyway, it's alot of effort to go through to get something to work.

But if macro's are cheating then surely using Gilbertus' client is cheating since it has the x-ray function and the night vision function.

I found ACTool and AutoHotkey are popular macro writing programs. I don't know how easy AutoHotkey is to use but I have done some tricks with ACTool in another game that officially allowed macros to a limited extent. Just think along the lines of scripting and you can't go far wrong.
I don't think H&H allows macros. Mind you I haven't seen anything I H&H that can't be done better by hand.

I'd actually be interested to see that, I somehow doubt the population would decrease as much as you think.
