is there any trick for catching silk moths?

Try catching them on grasslands or heath they allow you to run at the 3x speed without losing stamina. Otherwise, its mostly luck and a little practice due to obstacles.

thanks i just caught a female which was why i needed help i couldnt find them after four males i finally got a female

My first pair of moths my friend separated and they died without producing any eggs, then it took me a week to get another pair. It seemed like every time I caught more than one it was all the same sex(groups of males or groups or females, never pairs that could mate). I have a set of eggs, but I haven't had the time to sit down and ensure that I can harvest them properly and start producing silk so the eggs are sitting in a cupboard full of mulberry leaves.
