hunting while taming?

Postby stonedrydar » Fri Nov 05, 2010 6:21 am

since taming takes so long and ive fenced the rest of the herd, can i unequip the rope while waiting for the animals next attack in the taming process, so i can slaughter his friends?

If you attack another herd member the one you're taming will reaggro you as well, so you don't actually have to wait for aggro.

Don't unequip the rope, I'm 90% sure it'll break the taming process.

just tame two animals at once, it keeps you kinda busy. Its really not that difficult to tame two of the same herd either. I think some stuff changed since that wiki article on taming was written, cause it really isn't any harder then taming two separate herds. But ya, taming two at once is much more efficient.

ive tried it out and unequipping the rope doesnt matter, the animal will still follow you around and wont loose tameness points. to get it angry again without waiting i walked out of the range of the hord, so the battle would stop, walked back and attacked one of them (and then the moufflon i was taming knocked me out but thats a different story)
