Help with very slow laptop.

Postby tiirsys » Sun Nov 07, 2010 2:28 am

Hello there. I have been playing H&H for a little while now on my desktop and finally just got my little EeePC running. (It needed a new charger cable.) Anyways, this little laptop is so pathetic it has a hard time doing anything with Haven & Hearth. My processor will run at 45% while doing nothing on the game, and then go to about 53% when you click to do something. The reaction time is infuriatingly slow. (As in *click* wait... wait.. wait... maybe wait some more... then things insta-move.)

Is there anything I can do to make this little EeePC run my H&H addiction?

Well that is the weird part. I am fairly sure I have the most recent drivers. (Checking to make sure actually.) I can play things like say... web based games and the computer is fine. Something strange about this computer as well- just as a side note- is that I can't play something like Star Craft because it does not have the color compatibility. It is sad.

Even if it doesn't look like it, H&H is somewhat greedy when it comes to hardware. I don't think there's much to be done if you have the latest drivers. You can't really compare H&H to flash games in your browser.
