my friend, who had the key from the gate was murdered late at the evening. Nearly at night. He had the key, but i can no take loot from him... I've waited some time, and went asleep. At morning instead his corpse i find a skeleton, without any nearby loot. So now my char is loked in poli and can not get out, because there is no key... Can adm help? at example restore the looted key, or i must ask some old players to destroy poly? I'm newbie here, but i don't want to lose my char...

That is not helpful to the guy. It is not even funny.

Your best bet is to hire some strong TRUSTWORTHY players to destroy your gate. Then build a new one.
Your other way of leaving is to destroy your hf and spawn in the wild, but you will not be able to return.

Best way to prevent it from happening again is to build a village claim and use crossroads to exit the town and use your hf to re-enter.

Ironic since that is the response I have been met with so many times.

Make an alt, spawn him at your village (if you don't want to lose it). Then destory your main's HF, spawn in the wild. Kin your alt (once again, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO FIND UR VILLAGE BACK) and follow your alt until you reach your village, this may take up to a day.
