i just leashed a bear

i was equipped with a sling and a rope, started shooting the bear and chased it, then i got disconnect, locked back in and now the bear follwos me around in his walking speed and doesnt attack me, exactly like a cow on a rope...is that a bug or something new?

Is it pink
if its pink you luckily got a pig.

This is a known bug, bears will come back to you after they started running. Just stand still and wait. You have not tamed it and neither has the equipped rope anything to do with it. It is the standard procedure for hunting bears with a sling.
