I wanna kill somebody and then take their stuff, do I just need the rage skill to keep knocking them down and then loot them? Or do I need to buy theft as well?

In case you are wondering what the context is, I have a friend acting like a real douchebag and I want my stuff back.

You will need theft.

You can steal from someone who is KO'd as long as you have Theft. Not sure if you need it to steal from someone who is dead.

Technically, you could wait by him and wait 8 hours for him to skeletize, at which point his inventory and equipory will be spread on the ground next to him. You could then just proceed to pick it up (as long as it isn't on claimed land, of course).
