Playing in party from start

Hi guys,

we are new to the game and we are trying to play in small group together but we probably missins something important. We already found how game basics works, made our first characters but now wish to meet each other which looks impossible to us. We spend hours traveling together but failed (water, islands, too too far away...).

So we found new characters and tried to use ports from start but they leading to nice villages (big islands) with skilled players, no place to start, no trees etc...

Can you help us wish some know-how to meet each other in game, use some traveling mechanism or such?

We are starting to be a little depressed from it.

BTW how we can delete our characters (not let them drown).

Hey there and welcome to Haven&Hearth.

It is indeed possible to let characters spawn close to each other. One of you has to make the start and set a hearthsecret in the Kin menu (the one with the heart). The others now can walk up to the Sherlock Holmes guy in the corner of the character creation room and type in the hearthsecret. A ladder will appear and they will spawn right next to the first players hearth fire.

It is currently impossible to really delete a character, other than killing him.

You cannot reuse name after killing him.

Thx guys, we figured this out just few minutes before reading your helpful posts.

Now I got a small water problem. To many things around i need water. I made bucket. Tried to make a well, found water, all materials but missing rope so tried to take water from river but failed.

Do i have to equip bucket somehow? How to fill it with water? Does river count? Tried doubleclick, click and drag everything but... can u help us please?
