how long to make steel ?

i have 2 wrought iron and 2 coal in my steel cruicible and it runs and runs and runs and...

how long will it take ?
maybe i have to put out the hot iron and put it into warter or something ?
or i just have to wait ?
can it burn to long or something like that ?

1 ingame week [56hours real life]
also, know that from full fuel it takes 12rl hours to burn down, so you'll have to refuel it 6 times or so atleast...
