Tin, usefull?

I was searching for a mine in the wilderness, when I found tin. Is it useful? It has the disadvantage of also needing copper to make bronze, but yet, should I look around some more or settle here?

things you can make out of only tin:
tankards
chests
cauldrons
frying pans

things you can surely trade tin for:
copper

so yeah i'd say it's useful

More useful than copper, at least. I'd say settle down there, find a copper mine nearby and trade your bronze for iron.
