It's Aurochs (sing or plural) or Aurochsen (plural) depending on who you ask. They're an extinct ancestor to the ox/musk ox

While you're guys suggestions aren't too far off base, there are better ways of doing it.
1: 3000 LP is only going to get a couple of points in MM at best (unless you're sitting at only 2 or 3). Add another 0 or at least double to triple that number so you can see some improvement in your accuracy/firing speed.
2: you can easily build a fox trap by yourself. Foxes won't break roundpole fences, so this works to box them in. If you're insistent on hunting from a boat, you can do the same thing, lure them into the fence, and when they do the twitchy thing, you can hop out real fast and close the fence. (Suggest having at least 10 UA for this, though, so if you're a bit slow, it'll take a few hits for the fox to break your defense.)
3: Best suggestion for killing foxes: get a good quality axe and learn how to kill them in melee with around 30-35 UA (note, you'll need most of the combat skills to do it easily). Practice somewhere you can make a quick escape like near a lake with a boat nearby or a house/cave. You'll soon be killing foxes faster than it takes to set up a fence and shoot it. (Care just needs to be taken so that you do spook the fox off in the middle of combat.)
