OK Loftar,
I have a little problem, and I'm wondering whether it's a bug or a feature. we've got an intelligent thief loose in our palisade. It's been leaving trespassing clues, but only once has anyone ever seen a theft or vandalism clue - and the guy who saw it neglected to track it - neither he nor 2 other so-so rangers ever saw it again.
The thief's been happily exploiting the lack of protection from village claims for indoor spaces. But now I'm seeing objects disappearing from outdoors - not things in containers, but cheese tubs and baskets. I even heard the sound of something being destroyed (or killed), maybe an hour ago - found nothing - then when I found a couple of fresh trespass clues near the cheese tubs, I counted them. There's one less than there was 2 hours ago - and the remaining ones are also empty of fresh curds, even though I believe none of us had emptied them. The tubs were protected by village authority, no personal claims. They were however outdoors, so should have generated clues - and I have plenty of trespass clues.
Are vandalism and theft clues harder to spot, for the same level of perception and exploration, or have we found yet another bug or unimplemented feature?
p.s. It's quite obviously using the return-to-where-I-logged-out feature to stay within our palisade, though it does leave hearth fires in out of the way places. I've destroyed those twice - and removed the basket of dreams placed conveniently beside the last out of place hearth I destroyed - but it isn't getting rid of our nuisance. Much as I enjoy returning to where I logged out - particularly after a crash, when I'm wanting to find e.g. a cart I may have been pulling - it appears to be quite abusable.
[Edit - also, is digging clay in a village or personal claim vandalism? Should it be?]
