How did you get the sword? Well, I now you need a block of wood and metal, but was it easy to get?

Just read the Combat Guide which is stickied and learn to fight instead of trying to get enough strength to one-hit KO everything.

Alright. Well, I'm not sure how to calculate a fox's HP (the wiki is wrong IIRC) but a level X fox should have about 200 SHP. Your damage comes from both your sword's quality (and type) as well as your strength, but even a 10 quality bronze sword has a base damage of 325 so you should probably be able to do it already (not sure how to correctly calculate damage based on the weapon's base damage and your Strength, though). Basically, it's just a matter of having more than enough MC to remove the fox's defense bar in 1 sting.

When you hit through the defense bar, your damage is reduced based on how much of your attack bar it took to consume the defense bar. If you had enough attack & MC to remove their remaining defense twice over then you would hit for your maximum damage.
