Exactly how much faster is digging with a shovel compared to digging with your hands? Does the quality of the shovel affect anything?

Quality doesn't matter. It's a bit faster and you lose much less stamina.

Quality doesn't matter. The stamina consumption rate of digging is the same but it takes half the time to completely so it takes half the total amount of stamina you need total.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

It also increases the speed of removing tree stumps, and it increases the speed of using the Pack Dirt action.
