They will naturally mate after a certain amount of time has passed being in the same inventory. You can then put the silkmoth eggs on an herbalist table, where they will hatch into larva after a certain amount of time. Once they hatch, you need to feed each larva 4 mulberry leaves total to make it turn into a cocoon. At this point, you have two choices.
1) Allow the cocoons to develop into moths, which will allow you to get more eggs.
2) Unravel the cocoons in a cauldron, allowing you to collect silk filaments, a useful cloth making material.
Somebody can add to this if they want, but that's the basics I think.
