i just died killing spiders

left click right by a rabbit to walk up next to it
right click the rabbit to pick it up (need a 2x2 space free in inventory)
wring it's neck
butcher it

or, if you have a boat, you go look along the rivers for dead herds, they pop up every now and then, and you can skin->butcher>collect bones, and you have your self alot of good food and leather and bones
i really need to find a good signature
