Health

Okay so after getting my self settled and making myself a sling as opposed to a bow, since I derived that "newbie" players are better off with slings than bows at the beginning of the game, I am now hunting foxes. Everything is going fine & Dandy but just a question, how can I tell how much health it has or do I just have to keep shooting it until its dead? I know the attack and defense bar.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, I just need to be sure.

Thanks.

I think the wiki has a thing which calculates the health of all animals per level. Not sure if its still there/ the same.

While in combat in the upright corner of the screen, there is a portrait of the animal you are fighting. In the upright of that is some numbers.. The basic numbers will be VIII that would read as level 8. I = 1, V = 5, X = 10. Then on the wiki search up the animal you are fighting. And below the picture of the animal (on the wiki) it will say something like. HP * 30. So it would be 8 * 30. The HP is a total 240. That is about it good luck!
