Whats a better source of fuel for a kiln?

This is for lighting a Kiln, whats better? Blocks of Wood? or Boards?

boards are usually easier to get higher quality, depends on your saw q and carpentry skill of course. but generally the best fuel is whatever you can get in higher quality if you are heating something where quality matters (treeplanter's pots, bricks for your ovens or smelters, etc)

Oh, thanks :-)

So it truely depends what I want to smelt, in order to get the best option. For now I'm using Blocks, it takes around 3-4 blocks to fill up the Kiln I think XD

you don't actually need to fill it, most things only take 2-4 units of fuel (branch=1 unit, blocks, boards, charcoal=2)
