how to make curd ?

i understand how cheese work. but in that thread isnt explained how to make curd.

what is meant with rennet ?

Rennet is "Lab" in German. If you have the Cheesemaking skill, then you should have a craft recipe for it.

Rennet is a concoction of enzymes derived from the fourth stomach of young cows. The active enzyme in it in rennin. This enzyme and others (ie. lipase, protease) cause milk to coagulate and separate into whey and curds. The curds can then be 'mold'ed into cheese.
