I tried "Call the thunder" like was advertised. Didn't work. So I tried to punch one of its herd...didn't work. But at least those didn't ADD time.

Today I hit them with my sling and killed 2 of them with no aggro. But it certainly reset the timer because i've been taming one auroch for like 2 hours now. Fun stuff.

Once you aggro the auroch you were taming you fucked it up for good.

The trick is that you walk as far off screen as you can, far enough where all the aurochsen drop battle (about 60~70 tiles away?), then you walk back into range and aggro one (NOT THE ONE YOU ARE TAMING), it'll re-aggro all of them, now continue taming the one you were taming.

I didn't re-attack the one I'm taming. I eventually tamed it, just slowly.

And if I walk off the screen far enough the tame points set back to 0. This was confirmed by my village mate who watched it as the 0 popped up over its head when I walked away.
