Drying hides.

Do I need to leave my hides in the drying frame for the entire time limit, or can I take them out for safekeeping? Because some marauders are running around stealing stuff from my friends' village, which I'm staying in.

Removing them from the drying frame will reset the timer.

If anyone is planning on raiding you then you need at least a palisade to prevent most people from being able to bother you. I suggest building one around your camp immediately.
