Right-clicking with Mac

To right-click with a Mac when using things generally for PC one would hold control+left/only click. My friend claims that this works fine everywhere else but not on Haven and Hearth. I find that a bit odd. Any ideas or suggestions?

go to system preferences and change the right mouse button to actually work as a right mouse button

I guess I didn't make myself clear, I am sorry. Most Macs only have one button on their mouse and therefore there is no option to enable a button that does not exist.

I would disagree with that and have to also counter with "apparently my friend's mouse still only has one (and no, it's not from 1996)."

I am the friend that Truth0 was talking about. I'm the one with a Mac, a 2007 Macbook Pro, and no I do not have a right click on the mouse. I tried using the buttons ctrl and a click of the mouse, the equivalent of a right click, and that did not do anything. I tried on both a person and the treasure chest in the first area and nothing.
