I'll use this thread to ask how one sacrifices an item. I would assume it works like everything else in that you left-click it, and then right-click an altar. I've done this repeatedly with the correct item (with an acceptable quality despite that not mattering) from as many angles as I could and from standing far away and up close. It is not working....

Any thoughts?

Make sure you're using a shrine you built, or it won't work.

You could also be more specific than "not working". It might be worth noting that at full Change, you only have 1/3 chance of getting +1 Numen point when you sacrifice the left-most item that your ancestors desire.

I never said I wasn't getting numen points, because, well, that's not the problem.

I had actually assumed as much but wanted someone to confirm before I built a second one. And to clarify, I had built 90% of it but a friend finished it, which is all that matters in this game.
