Price of Linen Cloth?

Postby Ahhburn » Sun Dec 12, 2010 1:34 am

So I'm farming for kicks and bring up the quality of all of my plants and such and I've been making linen cloth with all of the plant fibres I get. If I have an entire cupboard full of linen cloth what all could I get for it? The average quality is around q7-10. What if the entire cupboard was q10+, would that raise the value? What would the value be then? Thanks!

Linen cloth is often used to make banners, most people will not care about quality unless it is 40+/90+

Forum for discussing in game trades, offers and deals. <-- The description for the Apples and Oranges thread. This is neither a trade, nor offer, and it's not a deal either. I'm merely inquiring about what a full cupboard of linen cloth might bring in. Therefore it can go in the general "Questions" forums that How Do I? is.

@slippers, you're sure nobody would really be interested in linen cloth below that? I've heard of many villages who started out on selling linen cloth. Maybe they had q40 linen cloth though. Oh well.

Wrong.

For banners quality doesn't matter so q7-10 linen is just as good as like q150 linen.

The only time linen quality would matter was if it was for crafting gear, like a chefs hat. But most villages that sell chefs hats use their own q400 ish linen cloths.

I read it more like they only care when the quality is 40+ or 90+ for banners, which does not matter.

Even if he meant 40+ or 90+ for crafting cloths and what not he's still wrong because basically q90 linen right now is shit-banner quality anyways.

So what's the ideal worth of a full cupboard of linen? What would be a good trade for it?
