Murder gives LP unexplained

murdering someone appearently gives lp but has anyone tested the % and is it only if you have that persons scent or is it anyone that you murder? and does KOing count to giving lp if you dont have the murder skill and just the rage skill?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

any murder will do, and it has to be a kill, not a ko

what is the % of lp you would gain from the act?

so that would be 3.6% of their total lp then. Thanks for the info, once i can finally play again ill be taking this into consideration
