Can't build log cabin or timber house

Maybe I'm just a stupid noob but I don't know how to get the option to build a log cabin or timber house. I've got carpentry at 4 now and when I go to "Buildings" the option to build a stone mansion pops up but I can't build anything out of timber. Do I have to increase carpentry even further?
And sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find anything by searching the Wiki or this Forum...

you need the skill carpentry, which requires lumberjacking, not the skill value carpentry
