Vinegar quality

Does vinegar quality drop over time if stored in a barrel instead of bucket or bottle? In other words, does it degrade?

Doesn't seem to in my limited experience. The initial creation seems to be somewhat linked to the barrel QL though, in the same way that tea leaves are linked to a herbalist table, again with just me it is a relatively small sample size so take it with a grain of salt.

wine ql = average of grapejuice and barrel ql
vinegar ql = average of wine ql and barrel ql

No, nothing has "quality decay" (thank god) and your vinegar will stay the same quality unless you mix it with other vinegar.
