You only need the skills mentioned here and very good timing when using this. You said you read this, then you should know that you basically do not need to worry about defence since you should try not getting hit. Nor do you need to worry too much about your chance to "hit" since you have as many retries as you like
getting some skill in UA may help, true

1. Build as above surrounding a mouflon.
2. Use Call down the Thunder to the mouflon.
3. Wait until 18IP.
4. Time the mouflon's seizure.
5. Open the gate asap right after its seizure or yourself ofcoz.
6. Use Sidestep on it asap.
7. Step back behind the gate and close the gate asap.
8. Repeat 4.-7. three more times.
9. Open the gate asap right after its seizure.
10. Use Consume the Flames on it asap.
11. Step back behind the gate and close the gate asap.
12. Open the gate asap right after its seizure.
13. Use Quell the Beast on it asap. Yellow number (20, 40, 60, 80) pops out.
14. Step back behind the gate and close the gate asap.
15. Leave the crime scene and stop when target avatar(s) turns into "?" and wait for the avatar(s) to dissapears.
16. Return to the crime scene and wait for it(them) to automatically agro you.
17. Repeat 2.-16. four more times.
Do not leave the temp-tamed too far away. (In my case, it lost all of its tameness)
Do not attack the temp-tamed and its family when waiting.
Do bring works near the crime scene to kill time.
Do bring food.
Not recommend to stuck the targets using gate.
