Bow Question

Postby Vraatjuh » Sat Dec 25, 2010 3:37 pm

Everyone says slings are so much better, but it takes ages to keep getting stones for ammo.
Since I only hunt on animals, mostly aurochs/mouflons I have to get stones after every 2 herds. Therefor I would love to get myself a ranger bow so I can take a shitload of quivers along which would cost me a lot less time while hunting.

Is my statement true or am I missing something? (adding my MM is same for sling and Rbow, above 200)

Since no1 answerss in sweetox topic since he is more important

Wrong.

You'll hunt so much slower with a RB than with a Sling. Making good arrows isnt as easy as chipping stones from a rock.

And a RB aims 6x as slow as a Sling of the same Q (As long as you are not limited by your MM).

So you'll end up wasting more time hunting with a bow than with a sling.

The worst part is that you can't wear a backpack with a bow.

then, as you run out of arrows, you'll make them along the way, which costs time, and will not be very good quality possibly, limiting your damage

As well as your aiming speed since aiming is limited by 2x quality of the arrow as well.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.
