question about chiken coop logistics

so bascily my question is this

there is X space in a chicken coop, and lets say all space is taken

clearly if a chick grows up there is not enough space for it? so does this mean that chicks wont ever grow up? if this is also the case when will the chick grow up once space is made?

I would assume so. Unless of course this has been considered, and when the chick grows up, it just drops it outside your coop.
I haven't even considered this possibility though, so kudos for thinking outside the box. ^^

No, the chick gains immortality and lives forever. That is the only possible answer.

I assumed the chicks died if there wasn't enough space, but I never checked for sure.

I'm pretty sure the grown chicken just drops outside and then despawn after a while.
